SV	Joas nu, de zoon van Joahaz, nam de steden weder in, uit de hand van Benhadad, den zoon van Hazael, die hij uit de hand van Joahaz, zijn vader, met krijg genomen had; Joas sloeg hem driemaal, en bracht de steden aan Israel weder.
WLC	וַיָּ֜שָׁב יְהֹואָ֣שׁ בֶּן־יְהֹואָחָ֗ז וַיִּקַּ֤ח אֶת־הֶֽעָרִים֙ מִיַּד֙ בֶּן־הֲדַ֣ד בֶּן־חֲזָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָקַ֗ח מִיַּ֛ד יְהֹואָחָ֥ז אָבִ֖יו בַּמִּלְחָמָ֑ה שָׁלֹ֤שׁ פְּעָמִים֙ הִכָּ֣הוּ יֹואָ֔שׁ וַיָּ֖שֶׁב אֶת־עָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פ
Trans.	wayyāšāḇ yəhwō’āš ben-yəhwō’āḥāz wayyiqq^aḥ ’eṯ-he‘ārîm mîyaḏ ben-hăḏaḏ ben-ḥăzā’ēl ’ăšer lāq^aḥ mîyaḏ yəhwō’āḥāz ’āḇîw bammiləḥāmâ šālōš pə‘āmîm hikâû ywō’āš wayyāšeḇ ’eṯ-‘ārê yiśərā’ēl:

AC	כה וישב יהואש בן יהואחז ויקח את הערים מיד בן הדד בן חזאל אשר לקח מיד יהואחז אביו במלחמה שלש פעמים הכהו יואש וישב את ערי ישראל {פ}
ASV	And Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did Joash smite him, and recovered the cities of Israel.
BE	And Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz, took again from Ben-hadad, the son of Hazael, the towns which he had taken from Jehoahaz his father in war. Three times Jehoash overcame him and got back the towns of Israel.
Darby	And Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Ben-Hadad the son of Hazael the cities which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father in the war. Three times did Joash beat him, and recovered the cities of Israel.
ELB05	Da nahm Joas, der Sohn des Joahas, aus der Hand Ben-Hadads, des Sohnes Hasaels, die Städte wieder, welche dieser aus der Hand seines Vaters Joahas im Streit genommen hatte. Dreimal schlug ihn Joas und brachte die Städte Israels wieder zurück.
LSG	Joas, fils de Joachaz, reprit des mains de Ben-Hadad, fils de Hazaël, les villes enlevées par Hazaël à Joachaz, son père, pendant la guerre. Joas le battit trois fois, et il recouvra les villes d'Israël.
Sch	Joas aber, der Sohn des Joahas, entriß der Hand Benhadads, des Sohnes Hasaels, die Städte wieder, die dieser im Krieg aus der Hand seines Vaters Joahas genommen hatte; dreimal schlug ihn Joas und eroberte die Städte Israels zurück.
Web	And Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again from the hand of Ben-hadad the son of Hazael the cities, which he had taken from the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times Joash defeated him, and recovered the cities of Israel.
